Washington approves a deal to sell military equipment to Iraq worth $300 million

The Pentagon said on Friday that the State Department has approved the sale of logistical assistance and related equipment to Iraq for Bell helicopters.

She went on to say that the acquisition will cost around $300 million.

She said that the company’s “Textron Unit” is the primary armament contractor.
