Parliamentary preferences for a ministerial change soon: Committees under the supervision of Al-Sudani re-evaluate the ministers

On Sunday, the Parliamentary Strategic Planning Committee disclosed the creation of committees overseen by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani to re-evaluate ministers based on their performance and the protection of public funds.

The chairperson of the committee, Laila Al-Tamimi News Agency, “Through our communication with the government, we believe that there are ministerial changes expected by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, given that he has important observations, most notably the fight against corruption and waste of public money in the ministries.”

“The file of wasting money and combating corruption is one of the most important files, and it will be used to evaluate the work and performance of ministers in the government,” she stated. This will be done through the Prime Minister’s Office’s follow-up and inspection committees, which will be overseen by Al-Sudani. In light of this, ministers’ work will be reviewed, and their replacement will be made within the projected ministerial transition.”
