Dozens of exchange company owners staged a protest in front of the Central Bank, requesting that the prohibition on their firms be overturned during the currency auction, especially because these choices would contribute to the rise in dollar exchange rates.
They gathered in front of the Central Bank’s gates to protest, holding placards demanding that the Central Bank discontinue arbitrary measures and fire “corrupt people,” as they put it.

Owners of exchange businesses argue that these measures would lead the dollar’s value to climb even more, especially since the current spike was due to their refusal to participate in the currency auction.
