During the previous week, the Central Bank of Iraq sold more than 801 million dollars in hard cash to the US dollar.

According to a Shafaq News Agency correspondent, the Central Bank sold 801 million 133 thousand and 899 dollars over the last week and for the five days that the auction was open, at a daily rate of 160 million 226 thousand and 899 dollars, which was higher than the previous week’s total of 775 million 219 thousand. And $316.

The biggest dollar sales were on Thursday, with 208 million, 387 thousand, and 458 dollars, and the lowest sales were on Sunday, with 195 million, 502 thousand, and 595 dollars.

Our reporter said that international remittance sales during the previous week were 854 million, 800,397 dollars, an increase of 83% over cash sales of 141 million, 640 thousand dollars.

Mrasna explained that the sales were in the form of cash and transfers abroad to finance foreign trade, while the selling price of documentary credits and international settlements for electronic cards reached 1,305 dinars per dollar, while the cash selling price reached 1,310 dinars per dollar.
