The disparity between the regulated exchange rate and the illegal market is growing…Iraq was compelled to enhance the value of its dinars the last time we saw it. It’s extremely conceivable that the exchange rate will rise between now and the end of the year. Nothing major, but it’s a step in the right direction. As I have stated, they will rise in steps…At the absolute least, they can return us to where we started – 1,190 dinars for every dollar. I’d like to see a better exchange rate, but I’ll take it. That’s twice in a year when things are going well. This is just what we would like.
