Iraq surpasses Saudi Arabia and is ranked third among the largest oil exporters to America

The US Energy Information Administration reported on Saturday that Iraq’s oil shipments to the US increased over the previous week.

According to the administration’s most recent table, average US crude oil imports from nine major countries during the previous week totaled 5.645 million barrels per day, up 392 thousand barrels per day from the previous week, which totaled 5.253 million barrels per day.

He went on to say that Iraq’s oil shipments to America last week totaled 351 thousand barrels per day, up 169 thousand barrels per day over the previous week, when they averaged 182 thousand barrels per day.

He noted that the majority of America’s oil revenues during the previous week came from Canada, which averaged 3,485 million barrels per day, followed by Mexico, which averaged 1,004 million barrels per day, and Saudi Arabia, which averaged 294 thousand barrels per day, followed by Brazil, which averaged 168 thousand barrels per day.

According to the administration, the United States imports 133 thousand barrels of crude oil per day from Ecuador, 106 thousand barrels per day from Libya, 74 thousand barrels per day from Colombia, and 30 thousand barrels per day from Nigeria, with no imports from Venezuela.
