The US Energy Information Administration reported on Saturday that Iraq’s oil shipments to the US increased over the previous week.

According to an administration table obtained by Shafaq News Agency, the average US imports of crude oil from eight major countries during the previous week totaled 4.710 million barrels per day, a decrease of 1.132 million barrels per day from the previous week, which totaled 5.842 million barrels per day.

According to the data, Iraq’s oil shipments to America last week were 178 thousand barrels per day, up 142 thousand barrels per day from the previous week’s average of 36 thousand barrels per day.

He noted that the majority of America’s oil revenues during the previous week came from Canada, which averaged 3,243 million barrels per day, Mexico, which averaged 571 million barrels per day, Nigeria, which averaged 174 thousand barrels per day, and Brazil, which averaged 148 thousand barrels per day.

According to the administration, the United States imports 143 thousand barrels of crude oil per day from Colombia, 141 thousand barrels per day from Saudi Arabia, and 112 thousand barrels per day from Ecuador, with no imports from Libya or Russia.
