Jay Taymur, a spokesperson of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, said on Saturday that the joint committees of the federal and regional governments are meeting to finalize the draft oil and gas law.
“The Sudanese government is serious about sending the draft oil and gas law to parliament,” Taymour told Al-Maalouma, adding that “the relevant committees continue their meetings in the hope that they will finish drafting and refer it to Parliament.”
